Eating at Brockhole
Our Brockhole café menu is created using the best local produce by our Head Chef Gerald van der Walt, previously of L'Enlcume, and his skilled team. Expect delicious new flavours accompanied by classic dishes for every taste bud to enjoy!
A view to match
Instead of sitting on a busy high street looking at traffic, why not enjoy a coffee, or lunch, on our covered terrace overlooking Lake Windermere and the fells beyond. Not to mention our Mawson designed gardens teeming with wildlife, or our Kitchen Garden.
The café and terrace are open for seated table service but places will be limited for diners to be able to maintain relevant distancing.
Dog's are welcome in the main café and we can also welcome four-legged friends outside on the terrace!
Trip Advisor, October 2020 - "A pleasant visit to the Brockhole centre called at the cafe in the main house. Ordered tea and scones with cream. Amazing large scone with jam and cream. Probably the best scones in Cumbria. The gardens are a delight to the with beautiful views of lake Windermere."
