Artist Statement: I paint from a caravan in Crosby Garrett overlooking the magnificent North Pennines. I have traveled widely, lived in Brunei and Gibraltar and a recent trip to Singapore confirms to me that Cumbria is the most wonderful place to live.

Your adventure starts on the unique bike boat from Brockhole to Windermere’s western shore. You’ll be guided along delightful traffic-free trails to Wray Castle. There’ll be time to stop for refreshments and to explore the grounds before heading back to Brockhole.
