Returning for 2024 - Our Heritage Garden Tours and Cream Tea

Inspired by our Heritage Lottery Funded Kitchen Garden Project, we invite you to join us on one of our Heritage Garden Tours, including cream tea.
Selected dates March – November 2024
Tour length: 45 mins
Price: £8 per person, garden tour and cream tea for one
Our guided tour leads you through the gardens, gradually revealing the history of the family and house and how the garden was designed and created at the end of the 19th Century. The tour finishes in our restored Kitchen Garden, with an opportunity to chat to one of our Gardeners and visit the Kitchen Garden Exhibition in the Summerhouse.
We're also including cream tea, a homemade scone, jam, clotted cream, and a pot of tea in our café. To enjoy before or after your garden tour, to redeem simply bring your booking confirmation to the till.

Start point: Main visitor centre courtyard outside the shop.
Terrain: The garden has steps and a variety of path surfaces and gradients. We do offer a step-free route option. Please let us know in advance of any special access requirements.
Clothing: We recommend outdoor footwear and clothing. We will carry on in the rain!
