Join us for an open water swimming experience you'll never forget!
The UK’s biggest and best open water swim event, the Arla Great North Swim, returns to the beautiful setting of Brockhole on Windermere for a fantastic, family-friendly open water swimming adventure.
With distances ranging from 250 metres right up to a 10k there are options for all levels and abilities.
Enjoy the scenery, embrace the elements and soak up the experience this summer.

With so much to do for the entire family and plenty of places to eat, why not make the most of seeing family and friends on the stunning shoreline of Windermere.
Check out our activities on offer, and feast your eyes on our delicious cafes. Please note Mini Golf is not available during the Great North Swim weekend.
This year we have various activities available over the Great North Swim weekend. These include, archery and axe throwing.
*Note parking between June 7 and June 9 is for pre-booked Great North Swim competitors only*

Food outlets
Open everyday, opening times vary
Breakfast buns available from our BBQ on Saturday and Sunday from 7am
Bar open from 11am on Friday and 10am on Saturday and Sunday
Grounds
Access to the Lakeshore area will be closed from 5:30pm Monday 3rd June - 9:30am Tuesday 11th June.
House
Café and gift shop open everyday 9:30am-5:30pm.
Activities
Friday / Saturday / Sunday - Archery, axe throwing, laser tag are available. Boats/watersports CLOSED
