Brockhole across Windermere by boat to Hawkshead

A thrilling ride which explores the little-known western side of Lake Windermere on a mix of cycleways and minor roads. After a sail on the unique Bike Boat we head for the historic village of Hawkshead for a café-stop. The return loop is via a secondary road and the lake shore cycleway. The ride is hosted by British Cycling in partnership with LDNPA and a Ranger will explain more about the National Park's bid to gain World Heritage status.
