Snowdrop Walk with Child Bereavement UK - 21 Feb

Date: 21 February 2016
Price: Free - donations to Child Bereavement UK gratefully received. £1 for children's scavenger hunt.
Start: Enjoy the walk anytime between 11am and 3pm

Child Bereavement UK are holding their annual Snowdrop Walk at Brockhole. It's a special day to remember the babies and children who have died and the children who are bereaved each year.

Please support Child Bereavement UK's Snowdrop Walk. It's a lovely way to shake off the cobwebs at this time of year and enjoy the fresh air. By planting a snowdrop in memory of a loved one, you will be helping Child Bereavement UK support bereaved families and children, helping them to rebuild their lives after the devastation of a child bereavement.

- Alan Titchmarsh

Snowdrop planting

Individual snowdrops are available for you to purchase on the day, where you can plant them in a dedicated area in the grounds of Brockhole.

A Book of Remembrance donated by a bereaved family will be in a quiet corner for your individual entries.

Children's scavenger hunt

Join in the fun to help Hetty the Elephant find all of her missing picnic items throughout the walk and receive a fun-filled goody bag at the end from Hetty. £1 to play.

Refreshments are available to purchase from the Brockhole terrace café, with stunning views of Lake Windermere.
