Guided Cycle Ride - Quiet Windermere - 17 July

Price: Adults £20, children £12 (minimum age 11)
Start: 10.15am - please arrive promptly to allow time to park and to fit bikes and helmets. Expected return 4pm.
Cross Windermere on the unique Bike Boat and explore the new Hawkshead Trail, taking in Beatrix Potter landmarks. There will be time for a stop in Hawkshead itself, before returning on quiet minor roads.
Trained volunteers lead you on delightful traffic-free trails along the lakeshore to Wray Castle. Beyond here we leave civilisation behind as we pass Blelham tarn using the newly-opened Hawkshead Trail. After a cafe-stop in the village we take back roads to return to the Bike Boat.
This ride is ideal for active families (minimum age of 11) and active adults who cycle occasionally or more often wishing to enjoy cycling in the Lakes without the traffic.
- Grade: moderate (steady pace, some climbs)
- Length: (15 miles). Expected return 4pm
Please bring outdoor clothing, a waterproof and a drink (in a small rucksack).

Tickets include bike hire and the Bike Boat. Adult and children's bikes are available for hire. All under 16's must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
