By boat using Windermere Lake Cruises: We're on the Green Cruise – circular trip from Brockhole visiting Waterhead and Wray Castle then returning to Brockhole. And the Red Cruise – circular request trip from Brockhole visiting Waterhead, Bowness and returning.

All tickets can be bought from the jetty kiosk next to the new jetty. Toilets are available on some but not all boats.
By rail: The nearest station is Windermere (2 miles). From there you can take a bus.
By bus: Services 555 and 599 stop outside the gates

By road: From the M6, exit at Junction 36 and follow the A590 and A591 to Windermere and Ambleside.

Please make sure you read the signs next to the ticket machines and buy the appropriate ticket. You will need to enter your full vehicle registration number. The charges apply to all users without exception.
