5 up and coming summer holiday activities at Brockhole for the family to enjoy!
It’s possibly one of the toughest jobs out there – keeping all the family occupied, entertained and happy during the summer holidays!
The good news is that we’ve put together a fantastic range of fun, adventurous and educational activities to be enjoyed by the family.
With no further ado, here are five up and coming activities for you to enjoy over the next few days:
- Family Bushcraft and Survival Skills – Friday 7 August
Get to grips with basic survival skills, including shelter building, fire lighting and rope, string and knot tying. Suitable for accompanied children age four plus.
- Musical Mayhem in the Woods – Sunday 9 August
Explore the grounds of Brockhole using all your senses, and then make a musical instrument out of natural materials to take home. Age 6 plus.
- Jesters Circus Workshops – Monday 10 August
Try out new circus skills in this fun, children's workshop. Enjoy juggling, plate spinning, balancing acts, diabolo and much more.
- Hop on some Brockhole bikes and go exploring!
Embark on a mini cycling adventure with the family. Make a day out of it and bring a picnic, or enjoy some of the scrumptious food available from our café.
- Row, row, row your boat…
Have tons of fun on Lake Windermere in a rowing boat, kayak, canoe or paddleboard! You can pre-book your water activities here.
